AWSM was first founded with the idea of promoting local-Canadian pool of talented singers, musicians and writers, by organizing various music events and shows. Also launched to address the gap in accessible services for the South Asian music industry, the owner-founder of the studio, Gagandeep Singh was aware of the struggles an artist has to face of finding a recording space, getting it edited and mixed from another.
